The NZ Sailing Trust is a registered Charitable Trust (New Zealand Sailing Trust Board CC37843)
By donating today you will be contributing to the sustainability of our seafaring legacy, helping us connect New Zealanders to our iconic sailing yachts Steinlager 2 and Lion New Zealand, through school curriculum and leadership programmes, group charters and racing experiences. Ensuring these boats continue to inspire and education the next generation.
The programmes delivered on board our vessels is hugely beneficial to those who participate. We work with young New Zealanders to deliver our youth programmes that bring to life key values such as leadership, teamwork, communication, determination, courage and respect.
Our programmes and ongoing vessel maintenance is partly funded by programme fees, racing experiences and community or corporate charters, however for most of the funds required to keep the yachts at the high level of safety and functionality and to run our organization - we rely on your generosity.

Wills and Bequests
The NZ Sailing Trust is a charitable Trust. As a not for profit organisation all funds are invested back in to the yachts to maintain them for future generations.
If you would like to remember the NZ Sailing Trust in your Will we would gratefully receive any donations. You could specify an amount, a percentage or the residue of your estate.
Your solicitor or trustee company can advise you. The wording required to include the NZ Sailing Trust in your Will is as follows:
I give free of all duties to the NZ Sailing Trust [the sum of $(specify)] or [the residue of my estate] or [(x)% of the residue of my estate].
