We have a great passion for racing both Steinlager 2 and Lion New Zealand, and we have had many competitive races in the past. Our skilled crew has extensive experience in both inshore and offshore racing, and we are excited to share our expertise with your team. With our guidance, you can look forward to a thrilling and enjoyable experience on the water.

Friday afternoon yacht Racing
Join us for a thrilling 2-3 hour experience racing a Whitbread Maxi in the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron harbour series 'Rum Race' on select Fridays throughout the year. Anyone over 13 is welcome to join, regardless of their experience with boats or sea legs (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)
Our crew will provide all the support and guidance needed, whether you want to participate in hoisting the sails or simply spectate. All you need to bring are soft-soled non-marking trainers and a couple of layers of clothes.
You'll meet us at the squadron at 3pm. You will return to the Squadron after racing with a complimentary drink voucher to join the prize-giving party.

Maxi Racing Challenge
Experience a thrilling 2-hour adventure on Auckland Harbour and Inner Hauraki Gulf. Compete against 25 other people on each boat, with a total of 50 participants, on a course handpicked by our skilled skippers. This exciting team-building event is perfect for adding onto a conference. For larger groups of up to 100 people, we offer options that include the addition of two ex-America's Cup boats. Join us for an unforgettable experience!
