A huge thanks to Sponsors and Benefactors

“I see red, I see red I see red!”

One million trillion thanks to Mitch Dean for his incredible generosity in making and gifting to Steinlager 2 her stunning new sail covers and rope bags.

Thank you Mitch we are so so appreciative of all the hours involved in putting all this together.

Also a big shout out of thanks to Alistair Robertson from Contender Sailcloth NZ for his amazing generosity giving us such a good deal on the fabric.

An especially BIG thanks from Hine Moana

It is so important to be able to offer the confidence building and empowering programme that is Hine Moana - the 5 day trip we offer for young females in conjunction with Auckland Sea Kayaks. A special thank you to our funders :

Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa Fund Aktive - Auckland Sport & Recreation

Sport New Zealand distributed by Recreation Aotearoa - Te Whai Oranga

With their help we can offer subsidised places for Maori students, Pasifika students and students from Refugee backgrounds or those experiencing financial hardship. We can offer places to wahine who have less opportunity to engage in the outdoors and to those who show leadership qualities.

And even more THANKS!

To the Trillian Trust, Auckland Maritime Foundation who continue their sponsorship of NZ Sailing Trust and are so supportive of everything we do. With the help of Auckland Maritime Foundation we were able to deliver programmes to Otahuhu College, Aorere College, Tangaroa College and Southern Cross Campus that were privileged to be able to for most ‘take them away from their struggling lives’ (quoted by Martin Wright, Tangaroa College). With The Trillian Trust’s support we could replace hull fittings and repairs to the V Drive alignment and welding to the exhaust fitting of Lion New Zealand and keep the vessels fit for purpose.

And to Team Tatana Real Estate who had a client appreciation evening of which we were one of two charities to be a beneficiary of their auction. They raised enough money to support a school or community group for a day sailing!
