Our Partners
Blue Light Ventures
Blue Light’s Youth Leadership Voyage is tailored for young people aged 14 to 17 and is held in partnership with the NZ Sailing Trust. Young people get to sleep aboard, sail and explore the islands in the Hauraki Gulf while working as a team to navigate and sail a super-yacht.
Oceans of hope
Oceans of Hope is for people with MS, led by people with MS. Our aim is to offer people the opportunity to experience sailing as a way of learning new skills and restoring the self-confidence which can be stolen by MS.
Atl@s
The Advanced Training in Leadership at Sea (ATL@S) voyage has been designed for Scouts and Venturers aged 14-17 years from throughout NZ to experience life on the sea, to explore new challenges of leadership, teamwork and personal development.
Haemophilia New Zealand
Haemophilia Foundation of New Zealand supports people living with bleeding disorders and their whānau. Their National Youth Council represents members aged 18–30, providing opportunities for connection, leadership, and shared experiences.
They sail with the New Zealand Sailing Trust to offer young people a unique adventure that builds confidence, strengthens bonds, and creates inclusive opportunities for those with a wide range of abilities, supported by specialist care where needed.
Ngāpuhi Iwi Social Services
Ngāpuhi Iwi Social Services support taitamariki aged 12–18 who are referred through Oranga Tamariki or identified as at risk of entering the Youth Justice system. Our programmes focus on strengthening whānau connections, reducing offending, and opening pathways into education, training, or employment.
We sail with the New Zealand Sailing Trust because time on the water offers taitamariki a transformational experience, building teamwork, resilience, and confidence, while reconnecting them with the moana as part of their identity and wellbeing.
