SAILING TRUST GETS NEW GM

The New Zealand Sailing Trust has appointed Evelien van Vliet as its new General Manager. Formerly the Trusts Business Development and Programme Manager, in her new role, Evelien will be responsible for building the Trust back to pre-covid levels, increasing engagement and growing relationships with schools, charities and corporates, and attracting funding and sponsorship.

The New Zealand Sailing Trust works in partnership with schools offering programmes on board two of New Zealand’s most iconic yachts – Steinlager 2 and Lion of New Zealand –promoting the values of courage, teamwork, and innovation to young Kiwis.
